1. What LineUp Magic Does
LineUp Magic is a web-based tool that calculates valid lineup combinations for APA, TAP, and other skill-cap pool leagues. It supports 8-ball, 9-ball, and 10-ball formats and is designed to help team captains manage their rosters and plan for match night.
The service is currently in active development (beta). It may contain bugs, experience downtime, or lose data without notice. It is not a substitute for knowing your league's current rules.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using LineUp Magic, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please use accurate information when setting up your team and roster.

LineUp Magic is for legitimate match night planning. You agree not to use it for:
- Gambling, wagering, or any form of sports betting
- Unauthorized access attempts or reverse engineering
- Automated scraping or bulk data collection
- Sharing accounts across multiple captains or teams without authorization
- Any activity that violates applicable law
5. Your Data
You own the roster data you enter - player names, skill levels, and match information. We store it to provide the service. We may delete inactive accounts without notice, and we are not responsible for any loss of data. You should maintain your own backup of your roster.
6. No Warranty
LineUp Magic is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any lineup combination generated, compliance with any specific league's current rules, uninterrupted service availability, or preservation of your data. Always verify lineups with your league operator before submitting them.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LineUp Magic and Matthew Landry are not liable for lineup errors, league penalties, match forfeits, data loss, service interruptions, or any other direct or indirect damages arising from use of this tool. Maximum liability is $0.00.
8. Indemnification
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Matthew Landry and LineUp Magic from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or any disputes with your league organization.
9. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, associated data may be permanently deleted.
10. Changes to the Service
We may modify, discontinue, or introduce paid features at any time. We may also update these terms at any time. Continued use of LineUp Magic after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes will be resolved in New York courts. You waive the right to a jury trial in any such dispute.
