1. What We Collect
Account information: Email address, team name, captain name, and password (stored encrypted).
Roster data: Player names, APA and TAP skill levels, and format-specific statistics you enter into the app.
Usage data: IP address, browser type, access times, and general usage logs collected automatically when you use the service.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to operate the lineup calculator, authenticate your account, send service-related notifications, and improve the tool over time. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

Your roster and lineup data is private. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Firebase (Google): All data is stored and authenticated through Firebase. See the Firebase Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data.
- Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for site delivery and Real User Monitoring (RUM). Cloudflare may collect performance metrics including page load times, browser type, and anonymized network data to measure site performance. No personal account or roster data is shared with Cloudflare. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.
- Google AdSense: We display Google AdSense advertisements on public-facing pages of this site (such as informational and resource pages). AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing activity. Ads are not shown inside the app when you are logged in. See the Google Privacy Policy and Ad Settings for details or to opt out.
- Stripe: We are evaluating Stripe as a potential future payment processor. Stripe's JavaScript library may be present on the site during this testing period. Even in test/sandbox mode, Stripe's scripts run client-side and may collect device data and set cookies for fraud prevention purposes. No real payment transactions are processed at this time. See the Stripe Privacy Policy for details.
- Legal requirements: If required by law or valid legal process.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the successor entity.
4. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption, Firebase authentication, and restricted database access rules to protect your data. That said, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee protection against all unauthorized access or data breaches, and we are not liable for security incidents affecting your account.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We may retain or delete account data at any time. Inactive accounts may be removed without prior notice. You can request account deletion by contacting us; deletion is permanent and all associated data will be removed. We have no obligation to export or return your data prior to deletion.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to your account data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of your account. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests, though we make no guarantees regarding response time.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data is collected, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data).
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, manage your session, and maintain basic security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies inside the app when you are logged in.
On public-facing pages (outside the logged-in app), Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and personalize advertisements. These are third-party cookies governed by Google's privacy policy. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.
We are also evaluating Stripe for potential future payments. Stripe's JavaScript library, when present, sets cookies and collects device fingerprinting data for fraud prevention regardless of whether payments are live or in sandbox/test mode. These are third-party cookies governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
8. Children's Privacy
LineUp Magic is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy at any time without notice. Continued use of LineUp Magic after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
